That the decor is superb and very traditional. Not like the cliched hotels in cities.. Amazing value for price.. Only thing they could have had more variety for breakfast...

Good location, clean, reasonably priced for the area, not far from the airport
The manager of the hotel has tried to rip me off on the taxi fares back to the airport. From the Delhi airport to the "On The House", I paid 250 inr Indian Rupee using the official cab company. From the "On The House" to the airport, the taxi organized by the manager of the hotel was at 400 inr Indian Rupee. He argued that it was a "better car"... So I agreed on the price. Arrived at the airport the driver asked me 600 inr Indian Rupee, price apparently "negotiated" with the hotel... He then called and passed me the hotel manager on his phone. I had to stand firm and told him there was no way I was going to pay 600 inr. He gave up and told the taxi driver to take the 400 inr.

This hotel is a fantastic find in South Delhi. It is located in a quiet residential area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are decorated in an eclectic style with beautiful furniture and paintings. I particularly loved the small balcony in my room that faced towards communal gardens - it was a peaceful and relaxing spot. The staff at this hotel are friendly and very helpful, making me feel at home during my stay. The hotel provides all the amenities mentioned in the listing, including a brand new bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. The breakfast served here is delicious, with a variety of Indian breads made fresh every morning.

Reasonably priced.
The rooms have no natural ventilation. It can be bothersome. The breakfast service is given almost grudgingly.

the key location, close to useful amenities and convenient transportation, made it easy to navigate and explore the surrounding area. Another benefit was the comfortable bed which provided a restful night's sleep.
the Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, which made it difficult to stay connected with friends and family back home.
